  • So I got emails on this post, but not comments in the combox. My personal belief is that there has been a move away from personal prayer (the hours, good traditional prayerbooks, etc.) and from smaller services (vespers, matins, etc.) so that everything is the mass. The Latin Church has a wealth of other "options" that people can avail themselves of, but it's just not happening in the US.
